Measuring room and office units for the company HKS Dreh-Antriebe GmbH

The company HKS Dreh-Antriebe GmbH, based in Wächtersbach, was looking for a supplier for a measuring room and office units with steel platforms at the end of 2019 as part of a major new building project.

On the basis of the requirements we prepared a design sketch as well as the customized offer. After a detailed measurement and a meeting at HKS with subsequent verification of the offer, the order was placed in January 2020. In March 2020 the measuring room and the two office units were assembled in Wächtersbach.   

The approx. 22 m² measuring room with the dimensions 4.60 x 4.75 x 3.75m was equipped with a large double wing door. In addition, special construction windows made of 26 mm insulating glass, also from the production of Jansen Systembau GmbH & Co.KG, were installed.

The two room units are a double-decker office with approx. 20 m² first floor and approx. 20 m² upper floor as well as an office with approx. 20 m² on a steel stage. Together they created room areas of approx. 60 m² on a small
area. 

When it came to room acoustics, Jansen Systembau GmbH & Co.KG decided on a suspended ceiling variant under the steel platform on the first floor. The grid ceiling offers good room acoustics and a suitable space in between for the laying of electrical cables. The ceiling panels have a high degree of absorption, so the office unit on the first floor also has good acoustics. 

In the upper office units a special acoustic ceiling was chosen. This panel consists of two metal cover layers and internal mineral wool insulation with a sound insulation value Rw.p of approx. 30 dB.
