Description
Control voltage 24 V, push button “Open-Stop-Close” on switch box, connection to on site socket on operating level.
Placement of drive and control, depending on requirements, inside or outside the ATEX-zone.
Jansen can deliver doors according to the explosion prevention requirement 2014/34/EU (ATEX-directive)
Gases | Zone 1 An area in which an explosive mixture is likely to occur in normal operation | Zone 2 An area in which an explosive mixture is not likely to occur in normal operation and if it occurs it will exist only for a short time |
Dusts | Zone 21 An area in which an explosive mixture is likely to occur in normal operation. | Zone 22 An area in which an explosive mixture is not likely to occur in normal operation and if it occurs it will exist only for a short time. |

Explosion protection zones
Gases | Zone 1 is a place in which an explosive atmosphere consisting of a mixture with air of flammable substances in the form of gas, vapour or mist is likely to occur in normal operation occasionally. | Zone 2 is a place in which an explosive atmosphere consisting of a mixture with air of flammable substances in the form of gas, vapour or mist is not likely to occur in normal operation but, if it does occur, will persist for a short period only. |
Dust | Zone 21 is a place in which an explosive atmosphere in the form of a cloud of combustible dust in air may occasionally occur during normal operation. | Zone 22 is a place in which an explosive atmosphere in the form of a cloud of combustible dust in air is not likely to occur in normal operation but, if it does occur, will persist for a short period only. |
